Virtual success through gamification

We have always seen ourselves as leaders in the delivery of interactive virtual classrooms.  So often we get feedback along the lines of:

“Wow, I had no idea you could keep things so interactive in Skype/Webex/etc”.

Recently we took this to a new level. We had a brief from a client to design a Pricing Simulation, to be delivered virtually with enhanced learning through gamification.

In between the classic teaching material each learner makes various pricing decisions, receiving instant feedback for their decisions on key metrics (market share, revenues, profits and portfolio development).  We track each learner through the simulation and at the end we announce the winners – those whose decisions have, overall, delivered the greatest long-term, sustainable value.

So far we have taken 70+ people from over 20 countries through this class with fantastic feedback 9.5 (out of 10) for “Delivering Objectives” and 9.6 for “Delivery Effectiveness”.
